Verizon gives new shipping date for HTC Droid Incredible
If you have ordered your Droid Incredible and are still waiting on the shipment, it seems you may be getting what you asked for. The rumor was that the D. I. was going to be dropped, well the rumor has been debunked. The display supply has been resolved and they have said they will begin shipping on July 27, if you order today.
Those who back-ordered, we hope, will be getting theirs sooner than that. Everyone, I’m sure, is desperate to get their phone in their hands, we don’t blame you. If you find anything out about your order let us know and keep the good news flowing.

I ordered the Incredible, in-store, on 6/6/2010. I was told the ship date would be 6/28/2010. I spoke with Verizon Customer Support today and was told that there will be an additional 5 day "manufacturer delay" in shipping. It seems some people who ordered a few days after me (ie, 6/9/2010) have received their phone today. I have read that Verizon has been shipping to people who purchased on-line ahead of people who purchased in-store.

I received a shipping notification on 6/30 and the actual phone on 7/1. People with original ship dates beyond 6/28 may have a significant time to wait — mid-July it looks like.
