DroidX Root: One Click Does the Trick
Last week the Motorola DroidX was rooted after a week on the market. Rooting the phone was a multi-step process worthy of shutting down a nuclear reactor. Then the un-rooting procedure was developed, just in case you didn’t want your phone open to every piece of malware awaiting a chance like a wide-open device.
But there are good reasons to have your DroidX rooted, especially if you’d like to remove some bloatware or take screenshots. Now, root has now been made simple. Is one click easy enough for you? It is if you have Windows and the .NET framework (which come with Windows 7 and Vista).
AllDroid has the the goods. They have set up the ZIP file on Media Fire if you don’t already have an account there. As always, be sure you know what you’re doing, this may void your warranty, and always wear your safety belts.

Can this be used on an original Droid running 2.1?
