New 4.3 Front-Facing Camera HTC Android Smartphone Phone for Verizon (HTC Merge??)
There have been some reports of an HTC EVO 4G-like device on a CDMA network, but this time it isn’t Sprint. Verizon! There some leaked pictures of the unknown HTC handset with HTC Sense that has made their way through the Android pipeline. It features a 4.3-inch screens and a fancy kickstand with brushed aluminum accents on. According to BGR and their source, the device will easily put the Droid 2 to shame. It might even end up as a world phone, so that gives some hope to those GSM users and if you were wondering, yes, there is a front-facing camera.
Given the information that the only new HTC device we have heard associated with Verizon recently is the mysterious HTC Merge, might this be that very handset in question? It may be too soon to say, but Verizon’s leaked roadmap doesn’t exactly seem filled to the brim with HTC handsets. Given the fact of the Merge is moving through certification at the GCF, it may be the world device that was mentioned.

HTC really do make some fantastic phones, and this one looks like another winning design. I like how solid and well constructed they feel, and the rubberized finish is excellent. I would love to see an HTC tablet (didn't I read a rumor of them working with Google on one?) My last phone was an HTC (sadly gimped by its lame WinMo OS), and the hardware was great. My wife has the Aria, and it's a wonderful little phone. However, don't try and take my Captivate from me
I just recently got a HP laptop with broadband built in and love Verizons coverage. This will be my next phone for both me and my wife as we are Deaf and will use it as a Video Phone or VP as Deaf say, Camera is nice too for pictures. We are now with T-Mobile but they have really lagged behind and no 3G service here unlike Verizon has.

You know I must say, HTC is a good brand, but there phones are just really BIG! I believe the iPhone 4 screen size and phone fits perfect!

Once iphone 4 rumor is dead, and the front facing camera works via wi-fi or 3G. I would purchase this phone soley for that feature!

I've been waiting for this phone to come out. My mother is deaf/mute and I need to use the frontfacing camera on Skype to see her. This is a blessing when I can see and talk to my mom who lives 40 miles away. Thank you Verizon.
