| August 18, 2010 | Comments (1)

Phillips has ditched their proprietary OS and has put Android into their newest PMP, the Go Gear Connect. This device will rival Samsung’s new device that looks like their Galaxy S. Phillips’ new unit has some great features:

  • 3.2-inch media player as boasting Android 2.1
  • 16GB of internal storage space
  • battery is good for 5 hours of video playback (and 25 hours of audio)
  • FM radio tuner
  • Touchpanel
  • MicroSD expansion slot
  • GPS
  • Android 2.1 Marketplace

The GoGear Connect comes in two versions, both of which are available on Argos. The GoGear Connect 16GB is available for £199.99, while the 8GB GoGear Connect is available for £179.99. The US isn’t expected to get this device.
