Fido to launch Android-powered Acer Liquid E in September 29th

| September 23, 2010 | Comments (3)

It’s confirmed last week that Fido finally will release their first android-powered device, Acer Liquid E.

The device has a 3.5 inch display, powered by android 2.1, a 5 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth

It’s said to go for $50 on a 3-year term and $350 without a contract. That’s pretty in line with what you’d expect from a budget provider like Fido. Rogers sells the Liquid E for $30 on a 3-year and $425 without a term right now.

The phone will launch this week and the targeted launch date will be on Wednesday, September 29th.

That's sooner than I expected. The Fido rep I talked to yesterday told me that I have to wait a couple of months for it!
