How Does The G2 Stack Up Against The Competition?

The G2 is not out yet, but T-Mobile has been training their team members for its arrival. Exhibit A is a comparison spec sheet. It compares the flagship phones of the four big carriers. Somehow this spec sheet leaves me underwhelmed. It does not seem as awesome from these specs as I know it is. I think the big thing that the G2 has going for it is HSPA+. Vanilla Android helps a bit, though. As do the benchmarks that put it well ahead of everything, aside from the Galaxy S family.

Pause right there, EVO is running FROYO. Just about phone running 2.2 benches better than the Galaxy S line because they are running FOYO.
