Telus launches LG Shine Plus, with Android 2.1.

The new  LG Android handset is available now from Telus for $69.99, with a three-year service agreement or $299.99 retail. However, in case users would like to have the new device without committing to such a lengthy contract, they can have it on two-year or one-year plans, case in which they would have to pay $199.99 or $249.99 for it, respectively.

LG Shine Plus offers a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G connectivity , microSD card slot supports up to 32 GB of extra memory, WIFI ( 802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth connection, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and video recording   and GPS for turn by turn directions provided by Google Maps and Google navigation. Also it’s screen is 3.2 inch tempered glass capacitive touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels resolution)

Other features of the new mobile phone include:
- Easy integration of Google applications and services, just by entering your Google account username and password
- Seamless multi-tasking, with the ability to use different applications at the same time
- Get a desktop like browsing experience with Adobe Flash Player support to see embedded videos
- Multiple home screens that you can fully personalize with your choice of dynamic widgets and applications
