ASUS : Android over Window Phone Seven

| October 28, 2010 | Comments (2)

Well, with the new hype over the launch of the new Window phone 7 and its multiple handsets, ASUS is not that thrilled about it after all.

Steven Tu, the Marketing Manager for ASUSTek in South Africa, came out and commented on the ASUS Windows Phone 7 device that was originally shown off at the official unveiling for WP7 back at the beginning of the year. Tu said, “As always, Garmin-Asus seeks the best for our consumers, either on Android platform or on Windows platform. However, we see the potential of Android platform devices, so we are focusing on Android platform currently.”

So, this explain why ASUS’ window phone 7 handsets is nowhere to be seen on the window phone 7 launch event. They simply think that android deserve their resources more. Another triumph for android.
