Sprint offering the Sanyo Zio FREE on contract!!
Sprint will soon carry the Sanyo Zio. Best of all they will be offering it free with a new two year contract. Cricket had the Zio in August for $249. Cricket’s version of the phone had Android 1.6 where Sprint has added Android 2.1. the Zio has a 3.5″ screen with a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor. The same processor found in the Aria and Legend. This is a pretty decent offering in the world of free android devices. For more info on the Zio, check out our hands on from march here. Way to go Sprint, glad to see a carrier helping to get more people into Android devices for cheap.
