Yahoo! strikes a deal for Sprint ID and T-Mobile

Yahoo continues to fight the seemingly endless battle against Google. The company announced late yesterday that they will make Yahoo products and services available to users of certain Android devices.

In regards to their deal with Sprint, Yahoo explained, “We announced an extended partnership with Sprint around Sprint ID – providing Sprint customers with a Yahoo! ID pack of services, including 1-click access to 12 different Yahoo! Android apps.”

Sprint ID is said to launch on the LG Optimus S, Samsung Transform and Sanyo Zio. The apps in the Yahoo! ID pack will include various services such as Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Sports.

As for T-Mobile, they announced they will be partnering with Yahoo! to integrate similar Yahoo services with the latest MyTouch device. The new MyTouch device was announced and it slated to arrive in time for the holidays.
