Virgin Mobile has released the Samsung Galaxy 550 today for those looking for an affordable Android phone. The Galaxy 550 is offered full price at $199,99 or free with a 3-year contract. The phone runs on Android 2.1 and TouchWiz 3.0, 600MHz processor, 2.8 in touchscreen, 2.0 MP camera/camcorder, and 50 MB internal storage with up to 16GB with microSD card. The phone offers an exclusive plan of $40/mo, meant for light internet users with access to Twitter, Facebook, and Google search.
