Froyo Finally Arrives on UK Galaxy S

| November 5, 2010 | Reply

Samsung’s UK Twitter feed announced last night that the roll out of  Froyo (OS 2.2) for the wonderful Galaxy S has begun and by the end of the month everyone with a Galaxy S in the UK will have it. I checked with their Kies PC sync software a minute ago and there was no sign of an update and none of my friends with the handset seem to have it either but I have very few friends and this is no indication that the roll out has not begun.

Froyo is the only thing missing from the Galaxy S which is otherwise one of the finest mobiles around and has probably played a bigger part in reducing the iPhone from a cultural icon to just another smartphone than any other single handset.
