Well it looks like the elusive HTC Droid Merge will be showing its lovely sleek-looking head at Verizon this Thursday. Seeing as this is Verizon’s first HTC phone to sport a physical sliding keyboard, they will be holding a launch event in Seattle for the HTC Droid Merge World-Phone so there is one more World-Phone for the US.

The phone sports:

  • 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen with a resolution of (800 X 480).
  • 800 MHz processor.
  • 512 MB of RAM.
  • Android OS 2.2 with HTC Sense.

This phone is looking to be a big seller for the holiday season and will look good in anyone’s Christmas tree/pocket/stocking/etc…

Be sure to share your opinions about the device in the comments. Who’s going to go out and grab one?

Also, this WILL NOT be HTC's first touchscreen/slider smartphone on Verizon. There was at least one other before this one, being the Touch Pro2.
