Nook Is Barnes & Noble’s Biggest Best Seller; Selling More Digital Books Than Paper Books on BN.com

Barnes & Noble released a statement saying the Nook has become their company’s bestseller, just days after Amazon said the same of their Kindle. A press release states that Nook has become the company’s bestseller ever in its nearly forty year history.

Introduced just eight weeks before Christmas, the new Nookcolor has become the company’s number one selling gift this holiday season. Just today I had the opportunity to try the Nookcolor, as two of my relatives also received one for Christmas. (Too bad it wasn’t me.) I also visited a Barnes & Noble store, and Nook was everywhere! They sure seem to be promoting their product very well.

While B&N has failed to release the exact sales figures, neither has Amazon, so for the moment, they are both bestsellers, ever!
