Angry Birds Rio: For 20th Century Fox, A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush

It was only a matter of time before the phenomenal success of Angry Birds was taken to a new level. That’s exactly what happened this week when Rovio announced their collaboration with 20th Century Fox for a version of Angry Birds, based on the upcoming family film, Rio.

If you’re not familiar with Rio, it’s a story about a domestic bird that never learned to fly, who will inevitably go on a life-changing journey with friends, encountering the ups and downs along the way; so a Rio themed version of Angry Birds only makes sense.

The preview trailer for Angry Birds Rio is more of a teaser, with no actual gameplay exposed, but I’m sure that we can expect the same bird-flinging fun that we’ve all came to love since Angry Birds was released.
