Just posted on HTC’s support page is a new update for HTC Sync, now with added support for devices that didn’t seem to make the cut with the last update. The official release brings Sync from version 3.05481 to the new version 3.0.5511.

“You can use HTC Sync™ to synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar or Outlook Express contacts and the bookmarks of web browser between your computer and your phone. It also lets you install third-party Android applications on the phone, and bring your photos, videos, documents, songs, and playlists to your phone.”

While users of the previous version won’t notice any changes, the new HTC devices supported by Sync include: Gratia, Desire HD, Wildfire, Desire, Legend, Tattoo, Hero (Android 2.1), Hero, Magic, and Desire Z.

To download the new version of HTC Sync, you can head over to the official Support page to get started.
