Motorola XOOM UK Launch Confirmed

| January 10, 2011 | Comments (1)

While Verizon seems to have a jump on the Motorola Xoom in the U.S. market, the Honeycomb tablet will also be available in the UK.  The new dual core 10.1 inch LTE-capable device will be offered through the retailer Clove, though no pricing or availability has been given.

Motorola has opted to make the tablet with a removable cellular module, which should make its spread to UK carriers much easier and more timely.  This decision by Moto is also what will allow the tablet to be upgradeable to 4G come Quarter 2 of this year. No! Not confirmed! Clove are a near-enough unknown online retailer hoping to get it on the action by posting early. They've had no official word from Motorola.

Come on people, it would have taken you less than 5 minutes to figure that out before spreading misinformation. Clove are just another crappy online retailer hoping to ride the wave – they have, and know, nothing (and say as much on their own website).
