Rogers Dell Streak 2.2 Upgrade: “Hoping to Get It Out by Spring 2011″
Rogers indicated previously that they did have plans to upgrade the Dell Streak from Android 1.6 to 2.2. The good news is they are currently testing that upgrade.
Chris from the Rogers Social Media team in our Forum said that:
“The 2.2 update for the Dell Streak is currently being tested on our network. We’re hoping to get it out by Spring 2011.”
Although 2.2 is not the most current build, it does bring Adobe Flash capabilities and will allow Streak owners to run all new apps/widgets.
