Android Activations Visualized on Video; Think “Droid Does”
It is safe to say that Android is growing at astronomical rates and is on its way to smartphone dominance. Google released Android on the world in 2008 and set very ambitious goals for the project. This Mission: to make Android the most ubiquitous mobile platform the world over, all while bringing the web to the mobile space and providing millions of individuals with complete access in the palm of their hands.
The T-Mobile G1 started it all, but the Motorola Droid and the $100 million marketing campaign by Verizon ignited the fire that now burns at 350,000 activations per day. The other major spark was the Samsung Galaxy S family, and with over 10 million shipped in seven months has made Samsung the #1 Android supplier worldwide.
All other smartphone OS makers have been put on immediate notice. Check out the video to see the monster they are up against. Let us know in the comments how you feel Apple or the new Microsoft-Nokia marriage will compete.

The Droid Does campaign is a model for successful marketing
This is actually a very cool video!
These videos are great, but they really need some music, especially turning up the volume and richness with the number of activations.
You hit it head on, it should build up with an epic song that progresses along with the growth.
