Recently, tech blog Skatter Tech put together a battle royal of 4 of the biggest tablets out right now. In a well laid out, head-to-head style infographic, the Xoom took on the iPad, Streak 7, and the Playbook spec for spec. Take a look:

The Xoom is so good, it really wasn’t much of a contest, was it?

Still need a wifi only version for Xoom to be attractive to me.

  3. Julie Roy says:

At an $800 price tag, it better be good!

  4. xoom is not the winner given its 800$ price tag AND the fact you have to pay for a month's worth of data before you can use the wifi. wtf is that?

  5. Mesho says:

You lucky US guys, price of the Xoom will be 800 Euro when it comes to Europe, if it comes at all.
    … so stop complaining ;-)

  6. Kori says:

If you can get one cheaper than that, I can see why you'd want one so bad. I'm too thrifty when it comes to spending, but I bet it would be worth it.

    • I think most android users are smart shoppers and at times can be thrifty, this tablet is certainly worth it but i understand people with families and fiscal responsibility have hard time justifying the price tag. They need to price them smarter so the average consumer can afford to purchase it and they do not go send potential customers or new adopters to the cheaper ipad ;)

  7. Let’s hope that this is just the off contract price and that verizon will drop the price to something reasonable…..how much would you be willing to pay honestly $399? $499? $599?….. I think $499 would probably make it compete well even though i would love to see this thing much cheaper….

  8. Stephanie Hoover says:

So worth it!! But yes a little much pricewise.

  9. Christopher Traxler says:

i agree with kori love to have one but price…

  10. Carl says:

Living in DC area Verizon pretty much has control of everything up here and I have to say as far I have experienced everything they do is Gold, they are just a bit too pricey. The things I would do to have one though…

  11. Paul J. says:

I’m not to happy about the Xoom only having 720p on the video resolution, I mean hell if your gonna do it, do it right the first time. Don’t skimp out, it’s got all the bells and whistles and I absolutely love anything running Android. Who wouldn’t want it? It has a barometer! :-) Yeah like that’s a big sell point, only if your a meteorologist. Well that’s my 2 cents, and as far as the price goes I’m not gonna be able to afford any of them for awhile.

  12. Mandi Alden says:

Ok…i love information, but im a bit confused. Who owns the Xoom? Verizon?
