HTC’s Flagship Pyramid Spotted

The HTC Pyramid is a gorgeous device and improves upon the Thunderbolt’s design in many way. Combine the looks with a very impressive spec sheet and you have a wonder on your hands, but is it Pyramid special? That decision will have to wait for a complete hands-on, but in the mean time check out the brand new pictures and confirmed spec sheet.

HTC Pyramid Features 1.2 Ghz Dual Core Speed

XDA has provided pictures along with this spec list that confirms the rumors that have been buzzing for a while. It does feature Qualcomm’s new 1.2 Ghz dual core SoC and a 4.3″ qHD display with 960×540 resolution. It also comes with 768Mb of Ram and a front facing camera for video chatting. It certainly has the goods to compete with the flagships from other major manufacturers.

HTC Pyramid Ships With Gingerbread

It comes with Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread and the latest HTC Sense version 3.0. It will be similar to the HTC EVO 3D but without the 3D. You can expect to see a nicely updated UI with blazing fast response times.

HTC Pyramid Coming Soon

The release date of the Pyramid is approaching fast but potential carriers still haven’t been announced. What do you think of the new beast from HTC? Impressed? Would you rather have the EVO 3D for it’s 3D capabilities?

  2. Sexy beast right there. If it were coming to Verizon, I'd jump on it. The Evo 3D looks nice as well, but I don't care about 3D

Did miss where it was going? If it goes to Verizon, I too will jump on it. I went from the Incredible to a DROID X and I liked the HTC phone better. 3D doesn’t interest me either.
