Vimeo on iPhone; Coming Soon to Android?

| March 31, 2011 | Comments (3)

Vimeo has just announced the official launch of their application for the iPhone. This versatile app lets you upload, edit, manage and watch your videos right from your iPhone, according to the app description on Vimeo’s site.

“Why should I care about an iPhone app?” you ask? Because it’s coming to the Android OS at some point down the road. From what I can see, it’s going to be well worth the wait. Check out this video from Vimeo and see for yourself. Do you think it’s worth the wait? Let me know in the comments.

I read yesterday in another announcement on a different site that Vimeo stated they had shelved the Android version because they deemed it to difficult to make. Was that false?

I haven't seen that information. Do you mind if I ask where you read that?
