Nexus S Dummies in the Door at Rogers
Dummy models of Google’s Nexus S phone have started to appear at Rogers stores in Canada. Dummy phones are non-functional display units. Their appearance often heralds that a store is going to be selling the functional version soon.
We have known for a while that the Nexus S would be coming to Canada, but we had no idea when. We saw many rumors about this, and it has been in the news a lot in the past couple weeks. We still do not know the launch date, although there is a rumor that it will be the 14th of April. There is no news about the other Canadian carriers getting this great phone.
It is really interesting that these Nexus S dummy phones started appearing without any documentation.
Google just announced that the Nexus S was now available in 17 more countries. Canada was not one of them. But that may soon change. Maybe Canada will be in the next announcement?
