April Release For Telus Fascinate 4G?

Could the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 4G be launching on Telus this month in Canada? Judging by this recent Future Shop ad, it seems very likely. On March 8th, Telus confirmed plans to launch the device in 30-60 days. But the ad above shows the Fascinate 4G as “Coming Soon”. There’s still no confirmed price for the smartphone.

Sporting a 4-inch SUPER AMOLED PLUS display, the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 4G appears to be a minor refresh its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate. It includes a 1 GHZ processor, Wi-Fi with mobile hotspot, 5 Megapixel camera and a front-facing camera for video chat. While it will be released with Android OS 2.2 (Froyo), it should upgrade to OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) at some point.
