Virgin Mobile May Get Moto Device, Could it be Stock Android?

| April 21, 2011 | Comments (1)

Virgin Mobile appears set to launch a Motorola Android 2.2 device, but rumors that the device may be stock are very premature. The screen shot above looks to be nearly stock Android, but it is the same home screenshot used for the Samsung Intercept, seen here.

Nothing is really known about the device other than this rumor of it’s pending release. The device looks like it’s a budget machine and given that it would be destined for Virgin the specs will be light to keep the no subsidy price as low as possible.

In any event, the screenshot is no indication that it won’t be Blur hindered.

About Randy Arrowood: I'm a 40 something early adopter of all things technology. I was first in line to buy both my original Version Droid and my Apple iPad 1. I don't hate your phone or tablet choice, but I've probably got an opinion about it. Aside from my family, the only things that I love more than a new gadget are fly fishing and going to the ballpark. Ocassionaly I find a way to blog about both. Though I'm only one more Foxconn story away from being fired, I've been writing for Android Headlines since March 2011. View author profile.
