Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the LG Optimus 3D, no update until October in the UK
Currently, the LG Optimus 3D runs on Android 2.2 out of the box. All the while, Gingerbread 2.3 has been out and is a sought after update that many Optimus 3D users have been patiently waiting for. Many were probably hoping to see this 3D device shipped with Gingerbread, but obviously that didn’t happen. So we sit tight waiting for something OTA.
Well looks like it may be a bit longer for the British units to receive Android 2.3. The company LG has stated that Gingerbread will not roll out to these LG 3D devices until October. Sure it’ll be nice to get this update,…
