Sony Xperia Play no available for just $100, mobile gamin now cheaper than ever!

Despite it being only 4 months since it was released, the price of the Xperia play has been slashed in half. Meaning you can now get your game on for just $100. The price drop is the result of a back to school promotion Verizon is starting. Although i find the “playstation phone” an odd choice of a device since it would most likely lead to kids playing The Sims 3 during class instead of learning.

I guess you could say it shouldn’t be a problem since the Xperia play doesn’t have the most selective gaming library available right now.

Nevertheless, if your looking to grab your kid a good smartphone that can keep them occupied and in touch with you, the xperia play is not a bad choice.
