Toshiba Announces New Thrive 7-inch
In case you felt Toshiba’s last tablet offering was a little too.. uh — big boned for ya — they’re at it again this time with smaller Thrive 7-inch in both 16GB and 32GB versions. The biggest appeal with the original 10-inch Thrive was its full sized USB and HDMI ports as well as SD card slot. The 7-incher continues the tradition but this time with mini/micro versions of each.
And thank goodness they did. The Thrive 7-inch is now noticeably slimmer than that brick of a 10-incher, coming in at only .47-inches thick. Toshiba also decided to keep with the familiar styling adding a grooved (now non-removable) backing and metal accents…
