Kindle Fire update 6.2.2 – What’s New & How to Regain Root
An OTA update for the Kindle Fire was pushed out today bringing the firmware up to 6.2.2. My household Fire got the update this evening and while the update brings the usual handful of performance tweaks and bugs fixes, 6.2.2 also incorporates full screen browsing capability; a feature many Kindle owners have had on their Amazon Wish List for a while now.
