Samsung Shoots Down Rumors Of Possible RIM Purchase
Talk about being in an awkward position for RIM. After previously hearing Samsung was among the major companies interested in acquiring RIM, Samsung went ahead and shut down any notion and rumor they are purchasing the company. In fact, Samsung spokesman James Chung adds Samsung hasn’t “considered acquiring the firm and are not interested in (buying RIM)”. Naturally we figured Samsung wouldn’t be interested in RIM to begin with anyways but nevertheless, seeing rejection is still a tough pill to swallow.
