Verizon Says All New Smartphones Will Be 4G LTE Devices, No One Bats an Eye
In a not so surprising move Verizon has come out and said that all their smartphones from here on out will come with 4G LTE radios. While we aren’t surprised at all, honestly besides the iPhone 4s and Samsung Illusion when was the last time we talked about a Verizon 3G phone, it feels a little redundant to say. As they put it LTE is now a “hard” requirement for all smartphones that are not push-to-talk devices. Those will remain 3G for right now.
