Android Distribution Chart: Ice Cream Sandwich Takes 1% of the Share, Froyo Still Prevalent

Time for another edition of the state of fragmentation. Google have updated their platform distribution chart to show how widely adopted each version of Android is. Gingerbread gained a bit of share but was pretty much stagnant in the two weeks ending today.
Ice Cream Sandwich got its full first percentage point in this period, a testament to more carriers launching the Galaxy Nexus and custom ROMs coming out for existing devices. Honeycomb will naturally begin to see a decline once OEMs update their devices to Ice Cream Sandwich which will speed up the growth of Ice Cream Sandwich.
