Android How To: Change your Ring Tone and Notification Tones

    Continuing in our series of how to customize your brand new Android device, today we are going to take a look at how to change your ring and notification tones. Since the default options are not for everyone. It’s actually quite easy, and it’s probably right under your nose if you’ve been having trouble with it.

    How to Change your Ring Tone

    1. Turn on and unlock your device if needed

    2. Pull down your notifications and click on the “Settings” icon

    or

    2. Open your app drawer and swipe over to “Settings” and tap it to open.

    3. Scroll down to “Sound” and select that.

    4. Scroll down to the “Device ringtone” and select it

    5. Now scroll to the ringtone you want, you can hear what they sound like by tapping them.

    6. When you find one you like, go ahead and tap it, then select “OK” at the bottom.

    How to Change your Notification Tone

    1. Turn on and unlock your device if needed

    5. Now scroll to the ringtone you want, you can hear what they sound like by tapping them.

    6. When you find one you like, go ahead and tap it, then select “OK” at the bottom.
